AmericanHort formally requested the Department of Labor to extend the comment period by 90 days for the proposed rule Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings to ensure that we have sufficient time to prepare and submit meaningful comments to OSHA on the impact this rule will have on the green industry. AmericanHort’s request for an extension will be posted to the Federal Register in the near future.
