H-2B Workforce Coalition Urges Release of 64,716 Supplemental Visas for FY 2026
AmericanHort and the H-2B Workforce Coalition urged Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer to promptly release 64,716 supplemental H-2B visas for FY 2026 to give seasonal employers greater certainty as they plan for peak workforce needs. The coalition expressed support for expanded access for workers from select countries and highlighted research showing H-2B workers complement U.S. workers, boost local employment and wages, and do not displace domestic labor. The letter also called for swift publication of a temporary rule, modeled after the FY 2025 rule, to address the ongoing seasonal labor shortage.
