Sustainable Performance: Building Health, Energy, and Injury Prevention into Green Industry Leadership
Presented with The Winchester Institute
Sustainability in the green industry is often viewed through environmental practices and operational efficiency, but truly sustainable businesses also depend on sustainable people.
Greenhouse, nursery, landscape, and garden retail teams face long hours, seasonal demands, repetitive movement, and peak workloads that can lead to fatigue, physical strain, injury risk, and burnout.
This three-part series with The Winchester Institute explores the connection between employee health, performance, and workforce sustainability.
Through practical, science-backed strategies tailored to the green industry, attendees will learn how smarter movement, better recovery, and improved fueling habits can reduce wear-and-tear, improve energy, and support stronger, healthier teams.
Designed for leaders and team members in labor-intensive industries, the series offers realistic tools that can be applied immediately to strengthen well-being, productivity, retention, and long-term team performance.
Participants will leave with practical strategies to:
- Reduce physical strain and injury risk
- Improve energy, endurance, and recovery
- Build healthier daily habits during demanding seasons
By investing in the sustainability of people, businesses create the foundation for more resilient teams, healthier workplaces, and stronger long-term success.
