AmericanHort joined the American Alliance for Innovation and other industry organizations in urging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to adopt a transparent, consistent and science-based approach when developing future chemical risk management regulations under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The coalition’s principles call on EPA to tailor regulations to address identified unreasonable risks without imposing requirements beyond what is necessary. The letter also encourages flexible measures that avoid regulatory overlap while supporting innovation, economic competitiveness, supply chain resilience, and regulatory certainty.
