AmericanHort Joins Broad Ag Coalition Urging EPA to Protect Science-Based Pesticide Access
AmericanHort joined more than 230 agricultural organizations — including 14 state horticulture associations, the National Citrus Nursery Association, and the National Christmas Tree Association — in urging EPA to maintain a strong, science-based pesticide review system. The letter emphasizes that growers depend on safe, effective crop-protection tools to produce high-quality plants and keep food and plant products affordable. Signers are asking EPA to stay on schedule with product reviews and approvals so U.S. producers are not put at a disadvantage compared to global competitors.
