AmericanHort, in collaboration with the National Federation of Independent Business, which represents tens of millions of small businesses, has signed a letter to Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH-8) expressing support for their legislation to repeal the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). The CTA imposes burdensome and costly reporting requirements on over 32 million small businesses, threatening severe penalties without effectively deterring criminal activity. AmericanHort and its partners urge Congress to swiftly enact the Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act to eliminate these unconstitutional regulations and provide relief to small businesses nationwide.
