Reducing Callbacks: Technician Best Practices for Healthy Interior Plants

For interior plantscape

Interior plantscape technicians are the front line of plant health, customer satisfaction, and business profitability. The quality of their routine care, scouting habits, and communication skills often determines whether a plant thrives or whether a service call becomes a costly replacement.

Speaker Vicky Cate shares everyday technician practices that help prevent plant problems before they start. Participants will explore simple scouting routines, plant care fundamentals, and early warning signs that can help technicians identify issues before they become warranty claims.

Designed for business owners, managers, and technicians, Vicky will also provide tools companies can use to strengthen technician training and reinforce consistent service standards across teams.

Learn how to:

  • Develop simple scouting routines technicians can use on every service visit
  • Recognize early signs of plant stress, pests, and environmental issues
  • Distinguish between care issues and environmental conditions affecting plant health
  • Document plant concerns and communicate effectively with clients
  • Strengthen technician habits that improve plant performance and reduce costly callbacks
