Workforce Bill Briefing: House Ag Committee Update
Join Trevor White, lead architect of House Agriculture Committee Chairman GT Thompson’s Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act proposal, for a timely briefing on legislation that could have a significant impact on the horticulture industry.
Trevor will explain the bill’s key provisions and answer questions about the timeline, legislative process, and the support needed to advance the measure. The proposal would:
- Expand the H-2A program
- Codify current rates established in the Interim Final Rule (IFR)
- Streamline procedures and clarify key definitions
Lynn Jacquez and Shawn Packer of JPH Law Firm will also share legal considerations and practical insight into how the legislation may affect your business.
This is an important opportunity to better understand a proposal that could shape workforce policy for the industry. While briefings like this are typically offered only to Premium members, this webinar is open to all AmericanHort members.
