Ag Groups Urge State Department to Expand H-2A Interview Waivers
AmericanHort joined over 120 agricultural organizations in requesting the State Department to expand interview waivers to address growing H-2A processing delays that are preventing timely access to seasonal workers. Backlogs at USCIS and consulates are increasing costs and putting crops and operations at risk. Expanding waivers for returning, vetted workers would help stabilize the workforce and keep production on track.
