AmericanHort and Ag Groups Urge House Action on Farm Bill
AmericanHort and over 330 agricultural organizations sent a letter calling on House leadership to build on recent bipartisan momentum and advance the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026. The groups emphasize that a full, comprehensive Farm Bill is critical to strengthening the farm safety net, supporting competitiveness, and ensuring the resilience of rural communities.
With input costs rising and economic pressures intensifying, the coalition underscores that outdated 2018 policies are no longer sufficient. The letter urges timely congressional action to deliver a bipartisan, bicameral Farm Bill that reflects today’s realities and provides certainty for producers across the country.
