AmericanHort, the National Christmas Tree Association, the Ohio Landscape Association, Ohio Green Industry Association and over 30 Ohio member companies sent a letter requesting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH-04), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and House Agriculture Chairman G.T. Thompson (R-PS-15) work on a fix to H-2A. Specifically, the letter requested the chairmen to address H-2A wage rates in light of the California court case and pursue a statutory solution that provides long-term stability for the program.
